The Hillbrow Church of Christ congregation was started in 1994. Over the years the congregation has actually reinvented itself several times adapting to the changes in that area.

Established
Initially serving the Hillbrow community, the church adapted in 2000 after a significant influx of refugees from French speaking African countries. With our blessing, they moved to Bertrams in 2001.

From 2001 the church primarily focused on being a home for university students from University of Johannesburg & University of Witswatersrand.

Over the past several years our youth members have grown & matured & Hilltop now serves a congregation of young families, young professionals & students as a leading church in the Johannesburg region.
